STEM Ambassador’s Clubs

Registration Process

Whether you’re a student leader or a teacher ready to inspire future innovators, we’re excited to welcome you to the National STEM Society family! Follow the steps below to get your club officially registered and recognized for the school year.


Step 1: Confirm You’re Eligible

To start or renew a club, you’ll need:

  • A student leader (President or representative)
  • A teacher or community advisor
  • A school or organization name and meeting space (in-person or virtual)
  • A minimum of 8 interested members

Step 2: Gather Club Information

Before registering, be ready to include:

  • Club name and location (address, city, state)
  • Club mailing address (preferably the parent of the club leader for club materials)
  • Teacher Sponsor or School Advisor name, title, and contact information
  • Student leader names and roles
  • Expected number of members
  • List of members: names, ages, and grades
  • Meeting schedule or platform (if virtual)
    • Microsoft 365 Tools: Teams and SharePoint, and Canva are accessible to all clubs.

Step 3: Complete the Online Registration

Make sure your parent, teacher, or advisor reviews and approves your submission.


Step 4: Submit Your Forms For Active Status

After registering, please upload or email info@nationalstemsociety.org the following forms below to achieve “active” status, ready for partnership.

  • Participation/Volunteer Waiver Form for all members
  • Student Code of Conduct acknowledgment
  • Technology Use Agreement
  • Advisor Agreement Form

Club Fees

Once your club is activated in our system. Your club leader and parent will receive a link to pay club fees or a confirmation email: “Your Club Name is matched with a Partner“, who will support your club fees or career panelists for the current school year.

Step 5: Receive Your Club Welcome Kit

Once your registration is approved, your club will receive:

  • Official Club Certificate
  • Official National STEM Society (NSS) Emblem logo table runner
  • Official Club Page Access
    • Available during school year for reporting club meeting attendance, supplies, and funding requests by deadlines.
  • Digital Club Handbook (accessible through active club page)
  • Access to STEM activity guides, events, and resources
  • Connection to NSS mentors and partner networks

Step 6: Request Club Funding

Once your registration is validated in the NSS Salesforce system, your club will be able to request funding for eligible club recruitment materials, meeting snacks, activities, and events.

What is needed for funding? An itemized list of supplies or materials, with the estimated cost of each item from Merchant (Walmart, Amazon, etc.) for each club project, event, or volunteer outreach project.


Step 7: Report Meeting Attendance

Once your registration is validated in the NSS Salesforce system, your club attendance for all meetings must be reported via your Club Page.
