STEM Ambassador Club Fees

We’re committed to making STEM opportunities accessible for every student.
For STEM Ambassador Clubs located in underserved communities where students receive free or reduced lunch, we partner directly with local community organizations. These partners help cover club membership fees and support bringing in career panelists for the school year. To keep these partnerships active and engaged, clubs simply renew each year.

For clubs outside of underserved communities, we also connect you with community partners, and a small club fee of up to $50 per member helps support your activities and programming.

No matter where your club is based, our goal is the same: to open doors, spark curiosity, and make STEM engaging and exciting for all students. If you’re ready to inspire young minds, we’re here to support you every step of the way.

Club Organizers Instructions

Email club startup inquiries to info@nationalstemsociety.org for additional information. All inquiries must include a STEM focus area, the organizer’s name, grade, school, pending school sponsorship teacher, tentative budget request, tentative club recruitment activities for members, and two community outreach educational project ideas that will be completed during the current school year.

Funding Give to Get Policy

Our Give to Get” Policy is inspired by Proverbs 11:25: “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”

We believe that true growth comes from service. Therefore, all STEM Ambassadors Clubs are expected to embody a spirit of generosity by giving back to their local communities through educational acts of service throughout the school year.

Each club must also maintain accurate and detailed records of all official activities, including meeting attendance, budgets, transactions, events, and community outreach projects.

Please note that funding releases may be delayed if clubs fail to submit required documentation or evidence of active engagement—such as reports, photos, and purchase records.

Volunteers

Volunteers are a valued asset to the National STEM Society’s mission and purpose. Volunteers can support club community outreach initiatives during the school year. All volunteers over the age of 16 must complete a background screening through the National Center for Safety Initiatives (NCSI) and any school requirements in the communities we serve for onsite volunteer activities on school campus.
